Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pontex platform operated by Pontex ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Pontex.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free trial at a time.
  • Organization owners are responsible for managing team member access and permissions.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
  • Use the platform to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without our written consent.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Pontex offers a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.
  • After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the platform.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan.
  • Prices are listed in US dollars. Additional seats are billed at the per-seat rate for your billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the platform. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You may export your data at any time. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pontex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pontex and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

8. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
  • Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease immediately.
  • Data associated with terminated accounts is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion. You may request a data export during this period.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pontex operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
